Uttar Pradesh: The CBI has filed an FIR in connection to Akhil Bharatiya Akhhara Parishad Chief suicide. A preliminary autopsy report indicated asphyxia as the cause of death, However, to conduct a detailed probe the CBI has constituted a special team. This establishment of a special team stems from a request from the UP Government that demanded a CBI probe into the case.
As per the probe conducted so far, the chief was last seen by his disciples whilst he went to his room for lunch following which news of his suicide surfaced. An alleged hand written note was recovered from his room by the police officials, that dictated his will and labeled several responsible for his death. The eight page long note read- “”I lived with dignity, will not be able to live with insult, this is why I am taking my own life”, sources stated. Sources further revealed that the suicide note also indicated his future plans about the Math after his demise.
Anand Giri, Sandeep Tiwari, and Aadhya Prasad and several other disciples of Late Mahant Giri hours were arrested by the UP Police after the death of the latter.
