After losing his father at a tender age, his mother was the world to him. Kareema Begum, the mother of the music maestro passed away on Monday due to age-related ailments.
The music composer and singer shared a picture of his mother on Twitter to confirm the news. Many industry people alongside his fans started pouring in wishes for him and prayed for her soul to rest in peace. Right from Shreya Ghoshal to Harshdeep Kaur and director Mohan Raja, all showed condolences to him.
Director Mohan raja tweeted, “Our deepest condolences sir. May her soul Rest In Peace.” Harshdeep Kaur tweets, “Dear Sir.. deeply saddened by your loss.. may God give you strength. Remembering Amma’s wonderful and gentle soul. She will forever remain in our hearts.” The Grammy and academy awards winning music composer was very close to his mother and this sad news has shaken him inadvertently.
