Hyderabad: In the wake of the pandemic outbreak, Thousands have lost their job and were forced to opt for other means for survival. Among these, A 26-year-old techie Unadadi Sharada from Hyderabad who used to work in the MNC before the lockdown, faced financial crisis after losing her job, has been selling vegetables to make ends meet.
Keeping ‘false prestige’ at bay, Unadadi wakes up at 4 a.m. every morning and goes to the wholesale market to buy vegetables and spends almost 12 hours selling vegetables.
But Sharada said that there is no shame in selling vegetables, since this is an honest day’s work.
Sharada’s story soon went viral on social media, and reached actor Sonu Sood, who has been going out of his way to help migrant workers and anyone who needs it during the pandemic.
