SHAMLI: Six people have been arrested for allegedly abducting and posting obscene videos of a 21-year-old woman from a village under the Kairana police station area, the police said on Tuesday.
The main accused in the kidnapping is identified as Haroon(50) who along with the help of his family members abducted the girl on November 16 and later shot her obscene videos and made them viral on social media, station House Officer (SHO) Pankaj Tyagi said.
The incident came to the fore after the victim’s family enquired about their daughter with the family of Haroon who beat and threatened them on December 10th. Following this, the father of the girl filed a complaint. In the complaint, he mentioned that since Haroon was also missing for many days they went to enquire about him and so the family members bet them.
A case was filed against six including Haroon under various sections of the IPC and the IT Act. Further investigations are underway.
