New Delhi: India recorded 4,510 fresh infections in the past 24 hours push India’s COVID-19 tally to 4,45,47,599. The recovery rate at 98.71 per cent accounted for 5,640 recuperations in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 4,39,72,980.
The daily positivity rate stood at 1.33 per cent. The number of active cases stood at 46,216 accounting for 0.10 per cent of the total number of cases. The active cases reported a drop by 1,163 in the last 24 hours. However, the mortality rate stood at 1.19 per cent recorded 33 fatalities taking the cumulative death toll to 5,28,403.
With the administration of 12,27,054 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 216.95 crore according to Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
As per the updated data, 94.70 crore beneficiaries have been administered the Second Dose and 19.81 crore individuals have been jabbed with the Precautionary Dose.
In the last 24 hours, ICMR tested 3,39,994 infected samples. So far, 89.23 crore tests have been conducted.
