AIZAWL: As many as four died and 10 were injured after a fuel-laden tanker exploded in Mizoram’s Aizawl on Saturday. The injured have been sent to the nearby medical establishments in Tuirial, the police said.
SP Aizawl, C Lalruaia interacting with media confirmed that four people died and 10 were injured in a fire incident in Aizawl’s Tuirial after a tanker carrying petrol caught fire.
As per sources a four-wheeler taxi and a 2-wheeler are damaged. It is yet to be ascertained whether the petrol tanker exploded after colliding with the vehicles or the vehicles collided with the on-fire petrol tanker.
