The Hyderabad police have enrolled a case of sexual harassment and rape against 139 people – some of them women- based on a 25-year-elderly woman’s complaint.
A 25-year-old woman has lodged a complaint here alleging that she was sexually assaulted by as many as 139 people over the past several years.
The case, booked at the Panjagutta police headquarters on Thursday, incorporates names of peoples referenced as leaders of a Left understudy association, specialists, gem specialists, media and entertainment world agents, colleagues of family members, and some even from places like Bengaluru and the USA.
A portion of the blamed are referred to as ‘NAME NO IDEA’ in the First Information Report.
In her complaint, the lady, expressed as jobless, said that she was offered to one man from Miryalaguda in June 2009 and the ordeal began with sexual harassment and physical assault by her husband’s family members. She took a separation from him in December 2010 and joined a college for further studies.
From that point, she was raped and raped around 5000 times by a few men, and was videographed in frightful situations to be used as pornographic content, the lady said. She has depicted a few such disgraceful acts in the FIR, remembering maltreatment for the name of the station.
The lady additionally said that the men had tortured and threatened to kill her in various manners like pouring corrosive and petroleum on her. ‘They run an online sex racket. Many young ladies are survivors of their appalling demonstrations like me.’
‘We are recording her statements and medical tests would also be directed. We are attempting to assemble more data to check her cases,’ a Panjagutta police headquarters official told DH.
The case is recording under different IPC segments like 376 (2), 509, 354 managing assault, rape, shocking ladies’ humility, and the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.
