New Delhi: Days ahead of the Independence day, the national capital has begun recieving threats. The Delhi police on Friday detained six from Anand Vihar for their alleged involvement in smuggling of ammunitions into the capital.
The bag seized from their possession included 2,000 live cartridges, official said. With further investigations underway, a case has been registered against the 6, the official added
The arreat comes just days after an ‘active ISIS member’ was arrested in the national capital earlier this week. The accused is a second-year student of Jamia Millia Islamia University.
India is set to mark its 75th Independence Day on Monday and elaborate arrangements have been done for the occasion. Heavy security arrangmenta have been made in view of possible threats.
