Urvashi’s Crystal Encrusted Gown- the Most Expensive So far

A familiar face with international fashion and film event, Urvashi Rautela seems dripping seems dripping crystals at Cannes Film festival 2026. The actor who returned to Cannes for the fifth consecutive year, showcases her unique fashion sense once again. Insiders claim her look valued at around $155.87 million (around ₹1,491 crore). Meanwhile, the fashion medias calls ir most expensive Cannes look ever.

For the opening, she was seen in a silver silhouette created in collaboration with Vietnam-based couture house JoliPoli Couture. The gown reportedly covered in thousands if precision crystal elements was designed to emulate the brilliance and density of high jewelry. Fashion commentators described the look as “liquid luxury surface,” engineered to refract light dramatically under flash photography, creating a diamond-like optical illusion across the entire ensemble.

Urvashi also talking about what representing India at Cannes means to her personally and shared, “I feel very proud and I have always represented my country in the best possible manner and today as well, it’s going to be truly special because here we are and I consider that whenever I represent my country, I am no more Urvashi, I am India. I love to represent my country in a very proud manner,” she said.

The creation of the gown is said to have taken 5 years reflecting the extensive artistic process, intrinsic craftmanship and detailing involved. The centre of attraction for her couture was dramatic falcon-inspired headpiece. Representing power, vision, and imperial dominance, the sculptural accessory was constructed with intricate crystal detailing and metallic framework. Adding to it was a an antique crystal minaudiere from Judith Leiber, a maison recognized for handcrafted jewel like handbags favored by royals, celebrities and connoisseurs.
