The Vvaan, penned by Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, is well into its first week at the box-office and non-stop. The movie has grossed Rs 49.20 crore on a domestic box office at six days.

The Vvaan, a distiller of the alcoholic beverage, amassed Rs 4.35 crore net profit on its sixth day in India, staking 7,070 shows, Sacnilk said. The latest collection put the total India net earnings of the film at Rs 49.20 crore.

The India gross collection of the film till now is Rs 58.54 crore. The Vvaan has collected a total of Rs 63.54 crore as gross collections around the globe to date.

It is reported that the film claimed Rs 0.50 crore from the overseas markets on Day-5 making its total overseas gross collection close to Rs 5 crore.

Deepak Kumar Mishra, who has directed the popular series Panchayat, has taken the reins of the Vvaan. Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah are the lead stars while Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari and Maniesh Paul are doing their bit at the supporting part.

The fantasy horror film is made by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari. The company’s associates include Balaji Motion Pictures, TVF Motion Pictures and 11:11 Productions.

Its box-office performance will play a key role in how well it performs through the weekend in its opening week in the domestic market, with its first week almost over. Although the Vvaan also had a bit of a nose dive in daily earnings as it rolled through its first week, that hasn’t slowed the Vvaan’s productivity from building upon his list.
