Actor Suniel Shetty, in a touching story, has stated that after the daily ritual Malaka was placed before a picture of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with a picture of Sai Baba, by her 15-month-old granddaughter.

In a recent interview Shetty said his ‘granddaughter’ has a book of pictures of various personalities and deities. One of them is a photo of PM Modi along with Sai Baba and she has unknowingly started to pray in reverence to both of them alike.

The actor has revealed that the young tot is doing a ‘small pooja’ every day and gives laddus to the Prime Minister’s photo from a temple of Lord Ganesha, treating him as ‘god’. The act was “different than where I think he was mindful of politics and public life, he was in a sense a reflection of a child’s pure innocence,” shetty said.

The actor says he has embraced the routines of his granddaughter because of her daily routine and now it’s a joyful family time. Children sometimes have a different lens through which to view the world and sometimes they express their love in a true and unforgettable manner, he said.
