Spider-Man: Brand New Day has made it to the major mile mark at the Indian box office, passing Avatar: The Way of Water, to become the top-grossing Hollywood movie in India by net collections.

The Tom Holland and Zendaya film grossed an estimated revenue of Rs 34.70 crore on its second Sunday, thus maximizing its revenue of India net collection to Rs 415.45 crore. As per Sacnilk’s data, it has pocketed the total gross collection of around Rs 496.86 crore in India.

With this, the grossing of James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water in India at Rs 477.50 crore and a net collection of Rs 391.40 crore will become the top all-time earnings performance in the country.

Strong Hold In Second Weekend

It is good to see Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been getting away with an impressive momentum even after first week. The film earned Rs 15 crore on Day 9, followed by Rs 31 crore on Day 10 and Rs 34.70 crore on Day 11.

This film had opened with a whopping Rs 60.60 crore net on Day 1. It went on to collect Rs 49.35 crore on Day 2, Rs 70.25 crore on Day 3 and Rs 77.75 crore on Day 4. After earning Rs 23.80 crore on Day 5, Rs 21.75 crore on Day 6, Rs 17 crore on Day 7 and Rs 14.25 crore on Day 8, the film ended its first week with Rs 334.75 crore net.

On the second weekend, it has consolidated its place in the list of one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema history.

There was significant, positive feedback from viewers, along with less competition this week, so Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated for a good number of more additions this week.
