Slated to hit the theatres on May 15th, the multi-starrer Pati Patni aur Woh Do takes you back in time. The film promises to bring back the charm of classic comedy drawing inspiration from the golden era of Hindi cinemas.

The film taps into the storytelling tradition dating back to olden cinema times. Revealing details about the film, Aysuhman said- “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is a situational comedy in its purest, most classic form. The idea traces its roots back to the legacy of Sanjeev Kumar. I have been a big fan of his work. Humor from films of that era emerged from misunderstandings, timing, and character dynamics. I’ve always admired that style of storytelling, seen in timeless films like Padosan, Chupke Chupke, Angoor and Gol Maal. They are a laugh riot and I’m hoping Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will also be the same for people.”

Director Mudassir Aziz is bringing back the golden old days of Bollywood and honestly, it sounds like the perfect excuse for a family movie night. This isn’t your typical high-octane flick; instead, Aziz has crafted an out-and-out family entertainer that leans into the classic “comedy of errors” style we’ve all been missing.

The film focuses on clever writing and those hilarious, messy misunderstandings that feel way more relatable than forced punchlines. It’s a total throwback to a simpler era of cinema—one where storytelling was clean, genuine, and focused on the beauty of human emotions. In an industry that often feels a bit too loud, seeing a director celebrate this kind of refreshing simplicity is exactly the vibe shift we need. If you’re looking for a movie that everyone from your younger siblings to your grandparents will actually enjoy together, this riot of a film is definitely the one to watch out for.
