Ujjain: Ahead of their much-awaited wedding in September, actor Parineeti Chopra and Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha visited the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh on Monday. The couple offered prayers to Lord Shiva and sought his blessings for their upcoming nuptials.
Parineeti and Raghav were dressed in traditional attire for the occasion. Parineeti wore a red saree and Raghav wore a kurta-pyjama. They were accompanied by their parents and close friends.
The couple spent about an hour at the temple, performing various rituals, praying to the Nandihal. They also took a dip in the holy Narmada river.
After the visit to the temple, Parineeti and Raghav interacted with the media. They said that they were very happy to be in Ujjain and that they were looking forward to their wedding.
Parineeti said, “We are very excited to get married and we are looking forward to starting our new life together. We are grateful to Lord Shiva for his blessings.”
Raghav said, “We are very happy to be in Ujjain, which is a holy city. We have come here to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for our upcoming wedding.”
The couple’s wedding is scheduled to take place in Rajasthan in September. It is expected to be a grand affair with many Bollywood celebrities in attendance.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have been dating for a few years now. They got engaged in May 2023. The couple is very popular among their fans and their wedding is much anticipated.
