Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Mohsin Khan, widely known as Kartik, got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Tamanna. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, he confirmed the engagement by posting a few glimpses from the intimate ceremony.
Captioning the post, Mohsin described Tamanna as “crazy beautiful, confident” and “sensitive,” adding that she was always laughing, teasing, hoping and praying.
“The first time we looked at each other, the first time I held your hand to the first time you sang Hum Toh Bhai Jaise Hain Waise Rahenge, I knew something within me settled. I had found my Person,” he wrote.
Mohsin donned a sharp black suit paired with a crisp white shirt and a red tie, while Tamanna complemented him in a light pink outfit with a matching dupatta draped gracefully around her shoulder.
For the second look of the night, the bride-to-be opted for a ruby-red maxi gown featuring an elaborately beaded and sequined embellished bodice.
“I was always told that when your forever person arrives, it will somehow become the easiest and yet the most important decision you will ever make. Maybe our story was already written in the stars. Or maybe, once in a lifetime, two people simply find each other at exactly the moment they were always meant to,” the actor added.
He concluded the note, adding, “Of all the promises we have made and all the dreams we are yet to dream, perhaps the most beautiful one is this….to find a home in each other. Here’s to us, my love and to the beginning of our forever @tammerrrrz.”
Soon after he shared the images from his special day, his industry friends and family took to the comments section to pour in congratulatory messages for the couple.
Tejasswi Prakash wrote “Badhaiya,” while Paras Arora congratulated him, saying, “Congratulations, brother.” Nia Sharma also sent across her love, while Smriti Kalra and Adrija Roy joined in the celebrations.
