The movie “Gadar 2 ” featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, is continuing to perform in theaters attracting large audiences despite the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on box office trends.

The sequel’s popularity remains strong without any signs of decline. According to reports from industry insiders, it achieved an income of Rs 22 crore on its seventh day. This outstanding performance brings the movie’s earnings to a remarkable Rs 283.35 crore with a gross total of Rs 308.5 crore.

On the day which is typically not considered a strong day for collections, the film still managed to earn a commendable Rs 10 crore based on early metrics. This achievement contributes significantly to the film’s collection for its debut week, reaching an astonishing Rs 235.65 crore.

In contrast, “OMG 2 ” starring Bollywood icons Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, has also been making waves at the box office. Within six days since its release, it has amassed a collection of Rs 79.47 crore in India alone. The gross earnings within the country amount to Rs 93.77 crore. Additionally, the film has found success internationally with a gross of Rs 19 crore. As a result “OMG 2” has managed to earn a total of Rs 112.77 crore.

These films serve as evidence that Bollywood is making a comeback as audiences are again flocking to theaters. It suggests that the cinematic experience is seeing a revival despite the difficulties posed by the pandemic.
