It was observed that box office collections had seen a significant surge on the second day following the modest performance on Friday night of the second film of the Pati Patni Aur Woh Do movie, directed by Mudassar Aziz. Comedy drama is helmed by Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh as its lead actors.

Early box office figures suggest that the movie grossed ₹5.75 crore in under 16 per cent occupancy on Saturday at over 6,700 theaters in India. The film had started with rupees 4 crore netting on Friday and had netted to over rupees 9.75 crore so far in its first two days of release.

According to report, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do has been grossing money on the globe within two days after its release of approximately ₹13.70 crore in all the countries worldwide. The collections are all moderate, but considering that these are night-time and evening screenings on Saturday, word-of-mouth helped, according to the trade analysts.

Even as the movie has received a boost, it is not able to match the box office performance of its predecessor Pati Patni Aur Woh that was produced in 2019 and starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. The original movie gathered more than ₹9 crores on its first day alone and went to cross ₹84 crores in India net.

The observers take pride on Saturday evens as it is important to watch whether these weekend numbers will match the lower traffic on workweek weekends going forward.
