Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal on Friday married his longtime girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades in Goa. The couple completed the formalities at the sub-registrar’s office in Mapusa in North Goa district in the presence of their close friends.
The marriage was registered under the state’s Uniform Civil Code, sub-registrar Suraj Veermaker, who officiated the marriage, said. Demetriades is a South African national. The couple currently lives in Socorro village near Panaji.
Dressed in casual attire, Rampal and Demetriades arrived at the registrar’s office in the afternoon and obtained special permission from the assistant public prosecutor of the local court to condone the 15-day period required between the first and second signatures as per the law.
Arjun Rampal has two sons with Gabriella. They welcomed their first son, Arik, in 2019, followed by their second son, Ariv, in 2023.
Arjun Rampal was earlier married to former supermodel and entrepreneur Mehr Jesia. They announced their separation in 2018, while it was finalised in 2019. Arjun has stated on multiple occasions that they continue to co-parent their daughters amicably.
At the work front, Arjun has garnered a lot of praise for his latest role as Major Iqbal in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar.
