Animal Park starring Ranbir Kapoor is unlikely to go on floors first as Ranbir is yet to release the latest ventures of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga which are Prabhas-starrer Spirit.
Sandeep’s production partner and brother Pranay Reddy Vanga has announced that it will be 2027 before the filmmaker starts on the next film in the Animal series.
Leading actor Prabhas will star in a film titled Spirit which will release in theatres on March 5, 2027. Following its release, production for Animal Park is thought to start in late-2027.
The update has also spurred the curiosity of Ranvijay Singh fans about his comeback from the role of Singh Ranbir. After the huge success of Animal, the sequel was already in anticipation mode going on.
Earlier, Ranbir had mentioned that the concept o ‘Animal Park’ had been inspired by Vanga while working on the film’s first one. The actor also revealed that the sequel will continue from where ‘Animal’ left off and that he will be in the film playing two characters.
But before the production of Animal Park, one would expect Ranbir to have a very tight shooting timetable. He must be busy in some promotional activities ahead of the planned Ramayana: Part 1 launch in Diwali 2027, which will be helmed by Nitesh Tiwari.
Lord Rama will be played by Ranbir and Sunny Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Ravi Dubey and Sai Pallavi among others feature in the other prominent roles in Ramayana: Part 1.
For now, though, that leaves fans little choice but to wait until late in 2027 for cameras to roll on Animal Park. But the follow-up has been one of the most awaited projects in Ranbir’s planned career so far was reserved for the sequel.
