While you wait for the class 10 Supplementary results, Here is how to you can check it once the results are out

Nearly 6 lakh students applied for the Class 10 phase 2 exams that were held in May. Of these, over 5.25 lakh candidates appeared to improve their previous scores, while over 85,000 students registered for compartment exams.

The CBSE board will activate the CBSE 10th result 2026 download link soon at cbseresults.nic.in.

While the results are yet to be announced,  here’s how you can check the results once they’re out. 

Students will have to visit the official website, and check the results on the CBSE results section. Click on the link popped up on the website, which directs you to the window of CBSE Class 10 supplementary examination result 2026. Here, you enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth if required, and submit. Once the details have been submitted, your results will be displayed on the screen. 

Students must note that this is a provisional mark sheet and not an original mark sheet that can be used for administration purposes. The result is also expected to be available through DigiLocker and the Umang app, where students can access their digital provisional mark sheets after logging in using the required credentials. 

Here’s what you should check on your mark sheet

After downloading the results, officials have instructed students to verify all details which have been printed on the mark sheet. In case if the students find any discrepancies in the results, such as incorrect name, personal details, or their roll number, school number, they should immediately inform the school authorities, who will then coordinate with officials from the CBSE for necessary corrections.  This year students are not penalised for incorrect responses, allowing them to attempt every question without the risk of losing marks.

Students can also contact the respective CBSE regional office if the issue is not resolved. They are also advised not to delay reporting any discrepancies as the mark sheet is important for Class 11 admissions and other academic purposes. 

While CBSE is yet to announce the official date and time of declaration of Class 10 supplementary examination results, it is being speculated that the results might be out very soon. Last year, the Class 10 supplementary examinations concluded in July and the results were announced within a few weeks. This year, a similar schedule has led to speculation that the board may release the results in the coming days, although no official confirmation has yet been issued.
