The National Board of Examinations in the Medical Sciences declared NEET PG results for 2026. Candidates who appeared for the recent examination can check their result on the official NBEMS website. Over all 2.65 lakh candidates attended the examination.
NEET PG 2026 was conducted on August 30. A re-examination was later held on September 5 for candidates who were affected by a technical glitch at the two examination centers in Jaipur.
Students can follow these steps to check the results:
- Visit the official NBEMSSwebsite at natboard.edu.in. Select the NEETPG 2026 section on the homepage.
- Click on the NEETPG 2026 result link. Candidates here will be needed to enter their login credentials.
- After which, they will be directed to the NEETPG 2026 result page.
Students have been urged to check the marks and the rank details, download the mark sheet and save for future reference.
The NBEMS website has a dedicated page where candidates can access examination-related notices and results.
Students seeking admissions must keep their marksheet downloaded. Those eligible can subsequently participate in the counseling process for the postgraduate medical admissions.
The cutoff marks for General and Economically Weaker Section candidates is 262, while candidates in the General PwD category and SC/ST and OBC categories must score 242 and 226, respectively. The NEET PG 2026 scorecard carries the candidate’s scores and All India Rank, which determine eligibility for admission to various postgraduate medical courses.
Besides, the board also announced to release the answer key for NEETPG 2026 on or after October 1st. In the notice, the board has clearly mentioned about the release of the answer key along with cutoff marks and rank.
The notice on the website read– “NBEMS shall publish the answer key of NEET-PG 2026 on its website, on/after 01.10.2026. Each candidate who has appeared in NEET-PG 2026 shall be able to access the Question ID numbers, correct answer key IDs, response IDs marked and score given for each of the questions as per the scheme of evaluation through his/her individual applicant login at NEET-PG 2026 index page at NBEMS website.”
