The Medical Counselling Committee is set to release the NEET counselling 2026 round 1 seat allotment results today. Candidates can check the results at the medical committee’s official website, mcc.nic.in.
The MCC in an official notice issued on Monday had extended the choice filing for round one till August 18. The counselling process for NEET began on August 5. However, a revised schedule for the first round of counselling process was announced on August 13. As per the new schedule, the round one seat allotment will be declared on August 19, and candidates must report to the allotted institute between August 20 to 25.
The undergraduate medical seats will be allotted based on the merit and preferences. If no seat is allotted after NEET UG counselling round one, candidates will become eligible to participate in the next round of the NEET 2026 counselling. If a seat is allotted to a candidate, they may freeze or float their allotment as per their choices.
After the allotment result is announced, candidates should download their allotment letters and complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed timeline. They must also carry the necessary documents while reporting to the allotted institute.
