NEW DELHI – The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has finally published the complete examination schedule for the academic year 2026-27. With this important piece of news, all medical aspirants in the country will gain complete information about the tentative examination dates of all crucial competitive entrance examinations such as NEET PG, NEET SS, and FMGE.
Exam Dates
The complete list of examination dates and other information can be accessed by candidates through the official NBEMS website www.natboard.edu.in.

As per the official notice, the important NEET PG 2026 is tentatively planned to be held on August 30, 2026. This important entrance exam is considered to be the gateway for PG medical admissions in India. The NEET SS 2026 for taking admission to super specialty courses will be held from December 11 to 12, 2026.
The board has also detailed several other critical assessments:
- FMGE December 2026: Scheduled for January 9, 2027.
- DNB Final Theory (June 2026): To be held from June 18 to 21, 2026.
- NBEMS Diploma Final (October 2026): Set for September 11, 12, and 13, 2026.
- DrNB Final (October 2026): Revised dates are now September 25, 26, and 27, 2026.
DNB final examination June 2026 will be held on June 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2026 and DNB final examination December 2026 session will be conducted on November 19, 20, 21, 22, 2026. The FMGE December 2026 exam will be held on January 9, 2027 and NEET PG 2026 will be held on August 30, 2026.

- Navigate to the “Notices” section on the homepage.
- Click on the link titled “NBEMS Exam Calendar 2026.”
- Download and save the PDF for future reference.
As NBEMS has pointed out, even though these dates form the current set plan, yet they are tentative and may change due to administrative necessities. Details about the eligibility criteria and the deadlines for applications will be provided separately through individual Information Bulletins for each exam.
