The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to begin its round 1 of registration tomorrow. The Ministry of Health has released a step by step tutorial video to help candidates understand the registration process, choice filling, and seat allotment process on the MCC portal.

The tutorials intends to guide candidates by explaining the counseling process in a simple way. The series of videos include detailed walkthrough of registration, fee payment, and choice filling, enabling aspirants to complete their applications with ease and make informed choices during the counselling process.

The round 1 registration and fee payment will remain open from August 5 to 12 until 3pm while the payment closes at 6pm. The choice locking facility will be available from 4pm on August 12 until 11am the next day. All participating institues have verified the tentative seat matrixes today as the registration window opens tomorrow.

Following the closure of the registration window, the allotment process will commence on August 13 until August 16 with the result being declared on August 17. Between 18 and 22nd August, candidates must report to the alloted seats with the institutions verifying the candidates joinind date by August 23.

The Ministry has also released a dedicated tutorial video for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates. The video explains the eligibility criteria, certification process and counselling procedure applicable to PwBD candidates, enabling them to understand the admission process clearly before participating in the counselling.
