CBSE opened its portal for List of Candidates correction for the academic session 2026-27 for Class 10 and 12 students appearing for the upcoming board exams.
The LOC correction website is only accessible for affiliated school authorities at the official website cbse.gov.in. Through this window, schools can make corrections to the details of the students submitted who are appearing for the board exams. Students and parents cannot directly modify the details on the CBSE portal.
As per the latest circular issued by CBSE, the last date to make corrections is November 7. The board has directed all affiliated schools to verify the submitted details of the students and rectify any errors within the prescribed timeline.
The board has also asked parents to carefully check the details of their wards entered in the List of Candidates. They are required to verify the student’s name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name and the subject choices.
As per the instructions by the board, the student’s name should be entered in their expanded form rather than using short forms. Parents have been asked to specify the surname of the students, especially if they are planning to pursue education abroad.
Additionally, the date of birth should match official records and passport details, as directed by the board.
It is worth noting that this will be the last opportunity for correction or changes in the submitted data. Following this, there will be no chance for corrections, CBSE clarified.
If the parents or students notice any discrepancy in their details, they are required to reach out to their respective school administration and get their information rectified before the window closes.
The board is expected to release the Class 10 and 12 date sheet 2027 very soon. Students preparing for the board exams are advised to keep an eye on the portal for early updates.
