New Delhi: It is reported that CBSE will be declaring Class 12 board exam results 2026 today on May 13. Though CBSE has not announced the exact time when the results will be declared, various online portals like DigiLocker and UMANG have put up “coming soon” banners, indicating it will be announced soon.

As per previous years’ trends, the board is unlikely to announce the exact date and time of the result declaration in advance. CBSE is also not expected to hold a press conference for the announcement. Once released, students will be able to access their marksheets and details regarding post-result activities on the board’s official website.

Candidates who had appeared for the exam conducted between February 17 and April 10, 2026 can view their results using various online portals to avoid being stuck into a delay due to server overload.

Where Can You Check CBSE 12th Result?

Results can be checked at results.cbse.nic.in. CBSE, however, has approved few other portals and apps for hosting results:

Official Websites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.gov.in.

Mobile Apps: The DigiLocker and UMANG apps will provide provisional digital marksheets.

Offline Methods: Students can also receive their results via SMS services or through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) if internet connectivity is unstable.

The Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry or APAAR ID is a unique 12-digit academic identity number issued to students under the National Education Policy (NEP) framework. Students who have registered for APAAR will find that their CBSE marksheet is automatically pre-loaded in DigiLocker.
