The results of the Class 12 Board examination for 2026 are expected to be announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), but the exact date and time have not yet been announced. Students will be able to access their results on official websites, such as cbsedv1-rv4.cbse.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in, once they are declared.
Students will be able to see their marksheets using the necessary information like roll number, date of birth, and other relevant qualifications. Lakhs of candidates around the country who attended the examinations earlier this year are eagerly awaiting the announcement.
CBSE Class 12 exams were held between February 17 and April 10, with the Legal Studies paper being the last paper of the examination cycle. All tests were carried out in a single shift that commenced at 10.30 am, and the schedule remained consistent throughout the period.
One of the main highlights this year is the launch of On-Screen Marking (OSM), which is a major way to reform the evaluation process. Class 12 answer sheets were evaluated electronically rather than using the traditional physical check format, making it the first of its kind. This is intended to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the evaluation system. But CBSE still used the old physical assessment technique to assess Class 10 answer sheets.
Considering the results of the last year, the overall percentage of Class 12 is 88.39. The girls had a higher pass rate of 91.64% compared to the boys’ 85.70%. Overall, more than 17 lakh pupils were enrolled to take the exams in 2025, and almost 14.96 lakh of them cleared the exams.
As the results are expected soon, students are advised to have their login details ready and to keep checking the official news.
