The delay in CBSE Class 10 second board results has left students and parents concerned about admissions, stream allocation and academic planning. With no prior information from the board’s end about the result date, families and schools have been claiming the the delay in results could affect stream allocation, school transfers, scholarship applications and other admission-related processes ahead of the new academic session.

Several students, parents and educators have also expressed concern that attention has largely shifted towards Class 12 results and competitive entrance examinations, leaving Class 10 candidates waiting for updates on their second board examination results.

Educator Rakhi Tripathi, in a post on X, said Class 10 students have been left in uncertainty due to the absence of clarity on the second board examination results. She also noted that the re-evaluation process for the first board examination remains pending. Tripathi also said many students are anxious about stream allocation and changing schools, adding that Class 10 is the first major board examination for most students and they deserve timely information.

A social media user from Maharashtra also claimed that many students in the state had already secured college admissions based on their Phase 1 results. According to the user, the continued delay has reduced the significance of appearing for the second board examination.

According to an official CBSE notification issued on June 25, 2025, the Class 10 second board examination results were expected to be declared in June 2026. However, the board has not yet announced a specific date or timeline for releasing the results. The CBSE has also stated that passing certificates and merit certificates for eligible students will be issued only after the declaration of the second board examination results.

Until an official announcement is made, students and parents continue to wait for clarity as admission deadlines and academic schedules draw closer.
