New Delhi: Two arrested for allegedly raping a woman in a stationary sleeper bus on Monday in Delhi. The accused have been identified as the bus driver and the conductor. The incident took place in Rani Bagh, New Delhi.
As per to the complaint, the woman, a resident of a slum in Pitampura was allegedly gang raped while she was walking home after as per her routine. But what happened next, led to the incident. Whilst walking home, the victim is said to have approached a man standing at the bus door to ask for time after which she was allegedly pulled in. After which the accused drove the bus towards Nangloi where the assault took place.
Probe revealed the woman is married and has three children . An FIR was lodged following the complaint of the victim and accused were detained.
Further investigation is underway.
