Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh has broken the record for procurement at the support price. 853,911 farmers have registered for the procurement of paddy, sorghum, and millet in the state. Last year, 784,845 farmers had registered.
In MP, approximately 69,000 more farmers have registered compared to last year. 8,47,830 farmers have registered for paddy procurement, 2,601 for jowar, and 5,545 for bajra. The support price for paddy is Rs 2,369, for jowar Rs 3,699, and for bajra Rs 2,775. Free registration was provided at facilitation centers established in gram panchayat, district panchayat, and tehsil offices, at registration centers operated by cooperative societies and cooperative marketing organizations, and on the MP Kisan app.
In the total registration done in the state, mainly 1 lakh 25 thousand 845 farmers in Balaghat district, 52 thousand 975 in Jabalpur, 59 thousand 590 in Seoni, 61 thousand 388 in Katni, 39 thousand 292 in Mandla, 25 thousand 23 in Dindori, 16 thousand 204 in Narsinghpur, 3 thousand 258 in Chhindwara, 70 thousand 115 in Rewa, 61 thousand 397 in Satna, 29 thousand 151 in Maihar, 30 thousand 189 in Singrauli, 28 thousand 536 in Sidhi, 22 thousand 369 farmers in Mauganj have got themselves registered.
37 thousand 56 farmers have registered in Shahdol, 27 thousand 271 in Umaria, 21 thousand 831 in Anuppur, 37 thousand 207 in Panna, 22 thousand 896 in Damoh, 4 thousand 90 in Sagar, 16 thousand 983 in Raisen, 9 thousand 4 in Sehore, 1386 in Vidisha, 88 in Bhopal, 31 thousand 804 in Narmadapuram, 9 thousand 546 in Betul, 510 in Harda, 1387 in Bhind, 4954 in Morena, 110 in Sheopur, 750 in Gwalior, 857 in Shivpuri, 449 in Datia, 255 in Dewas, 61 in Barwani and 33 farmers have registered in Jhabua.
