Raipur: Shivraj Singh Chouhan plans to visit Chhattisgarh on May 13 as the head of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare, and Rural Development Affairs in the Indian federal government. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma announced the news to the public while revealing essential information concerning Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s itinerary and the government’s progress in development.
Three lakh housing units will be distributed to beneficiaries by Shivraj Singh Chouhan during his visit. According to Sharma, the BJP government remains dedicated to delivering its commitment of constructing 18 lakh houses, while this occasion moves them closer to reaching their target. He praised the proactive approach of the state government toward establishing effective implementation of central welfare schemes aimed at helping common people.
Deputy CM Sharma informed the media about Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s unannounced visits, which have activated the entire administrative system. He criticized Congress for turning the matter into a political tool, aside from its unwillingness to adopt meaningful measures throughout the periods of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi. The Congress party attempted multiple times to appropriate the census issue but demonstrated no sincere action to resolve it, according to Sharma.
