The Assam-based actor and gym trainer Rohit Basfore participated in shooting for Family Man 3, and his body was discovered at Jalukpaham waterfall within the neighborhood of Garbhanga Wildlife Sanctuary near Guwahati on Sunday evening. Police conducted an extensive search for several hours until they found the victim’s body after he passed away at age 25.
Kamrup district police believe the incident involves accidental drowning, but their investigations will confirm whether criminal activity happened. Telephone distress calls from the incident reached police headquarters at 4:06 pm, according to Kamrup Superintendent of Police (SP) Ranjan Bhuyan. The team arrived at the site to initiate a search operation under the leadership of trained divers. Basfore’s dead body surfaced at 8:30 pm during the recovery operation.
SP Bhuyan declared at his Tuesday briefing that postmortem results must confirm the actual cause because the situation seems like a drowning case.
After the recovery process, the deceased individual received a medical examination at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) until doctors declared him dead. A postmortem examination involving the remains was conducted to acquire further details.
