New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has come into action mode as soon as she became the CM. BJP has started working on its promises ranging from bad roads to health and cleaning of Yamuna in Delhi. Today Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

She expressed gratitude to supporters in a meeting on Friday and said that in the first cabinet meeting of the Delhi government, Ayushman Bharat Yojana was approved, which was stopped by the Aam Aadmi Party government. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also interacted with the people. This morning, many people greeted her outside her house in Shalimar Bagh, who brought bouquets and garlands of flowers.

BJP government has been formed in Delhi after 27 years. In the swearing-in ceremony held at Ramlila Maidan on Thursday, Shalimar Bagh Assembly MLA Rekha Gupta took oath as Chief Minister, while Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered oath to senior party leaders Pravesh Verma and Ashish Sood as cabinet ministers. Apart from this, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa also took oath in Punjabi, while BJP MLAs Ravinder Indraj Singh, Kapil Mishra and Pank Kumar Singh also took oath as cabinet ministers in the Delhi government.

Talking to the media, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Delhi said, “Yesterday in the cabinet meeting we approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which AAP stopped. This scheme will be made public soon. Today we have called PWD and Jal Board officials for a meeting with the cabinet. We will seriously raise the issue of potholes in the roads.
