Delhi Vidhan Sabha Chunav Result 2025: The counting of votes for the assembly elections held on 70 seats of Delhi is going on. First of all, the postal ballot votes were counted. Many big faces of the Aam Aadmi Party are lagging behind.

BJP has gained lead in 43 seats in the 70-seat Delhi Assembly. While in the initial trends, Arvind Kejriwal’s party AAP seems to be facing a major setback. Amidst the Delhi election results, Kumar Vishwas has tweeted on Propose Day. His tweet has come into the headlines.

Poet Kumar Vishwas tweeted his video on social media X and wrote- ‘Sometimes you could not listen, sometimes I could not say. This tweet of Kumar Vishwas is being linked to the defeat of AAP in Delhi.

Let us tell you that in the initial trends of one and a half hours, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party seems to be facing a major setback. Kejriwal’s party is leading on only 22 seats. In the initial trends, Arvind Kejriwal’s broom is continuously lagging behind. Whereas BJP’s lotus is making a decisive lead.

Former CM and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal is trailing from his New Delhi seat against BJP’s Pravesh Verma. Kejriwal is trailing by 1500 votes. At the same time, CM Atishi is losing to BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji seat. While former education minister Manish Sisodia is trailing from BJP’s Tarvinder Singh from Jangpura assembly seat.

  • Okhla seat – AAP’s Amanatullah Khan trailing, BJP’s Manish Chaudhary leading.

Delhi election voting percentage

A total of 60.42 percent voting took place in the Delhi Assembly elections. The highest voting percentage of 66.25 percent was recorded in the North-East district and the lowest voting percentage of 56.16 percent was recorded in the South-East district. The highest voting percentage of 69 percent was recorded in Mustafabad seat while the lowest voting percentage of 47.40 percent was recorded in Karol Bagh seat.

Results of the last two elections

In the last election 2020, Aam Aadmi Party won 62 out of 70 seats. BJP got 8 seats. In the 2015 assembly elections, AAP won 67 seats and captured power in Delhi. In this election, BJP won 3 seats. On the other hand, Congress could not even open its account in both these elections. This time in the Delhi elections, Aam Aadmi Party left no stone unturned to form the government once again. At the same time, Bharatiya Janata Party is claiming that this time BJP will return to Delhi. Here, Congress is also hopeful that it will perform better this time than the 2015 and 2020
