Delhi Vidhan Sabha Chunav 2025 Voting: Former Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal cast his vote along with his family. During this, he appealed to the people of Delhi to vote. Kejriwal said that the public will vote for those who work. Till 11 am, 19.95 percent voting has taken place in the capital.
Voting process for Delhi Assembly elections is going on since 7 am. Voting will be done on 70 seats of the capital till 6 pm. In this episode, AAP Convenor and former Chief Minister Kejriwal reached the polling booth with his family and voted. Talking to the media, Kejriwal said that I would like to request all the people of Delhi to come out to vote and exercise their franchise. I request everyone to vote for the development of Delhi. Obviously, the public will vote for those who work.
Delhi recorded a 33.31 per cent voter turnout till1 pm. Voting started at 7 am and will conclude at 6 pm today. Voting for the Delhi assembly elections to elect a 70-member House began at 7 am today, February 5, and will continue till 6 pm across 13,766 polling stations in the national capital, with AAP, Congress, and BJP engaged in a fierce triangular contest. PM Modi in a post on X urged the youth to vote and participate in the “festival of democracy”.
There are 13,766 polling stations in all 70 assembly constituencies which will decide the fates of 699 candidates. Around 1.56 crore citizens are eligible to vote in the city, including 83.76 lakh men, 72.36 lakh women, and 1,267 individuals from the third gender.
More than 30,000 police personnel and 220 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed across Delhi to ensure a fair and smooth voting process.
