Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has started showing a decline at the box office as it enters its fifth week. But still, despite the recession, this film is continuously breaking records and maintaining its status as a blockbuster hit.
The movie’s earnings on Tuesday fell to Rs 2.25 crore, indicating a slowdown in revenue amid a remarkable run. Pushpa 2 made an incredible Rs 725.8 crore in its first week of release and Rs 264.8 crore in its second. In the third and fourth weeks, growth slowed, with receipts of Rs 69.65 crore and Rs 129.5 crore, respectively.
With daily collections of Rs 3.75 crore on Friday, Rs 5.5 crore on Saturday, Rs 7.2 crore on Sunday, and Rs 2.5 crore on Monday, the fifth week has so far generated Rs 21.10 crore. The movie’s total Indian box office collection to date is about Rs 1,210.95 crore.
In just four weeks, Pushpa 2 has made an incredible Rs 1,800 crore worldwide, confirming its place among the highest-grossing movies ever made. The Hindi-dubbed version became the first Hindi release to reach the Rs 800 crore milestone, marking a historic milestone.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the Sankranti festival as the makers of the film have announced a “reloaded version” featuring 20 minutes of additional footage from Makar Sankranti.This new version of the film will be available in theaters from January 11, and it is expected that the audience’s interest will increase again over the weekend and the collections will increase.
