Around 45 passengers on board the bus were injured when a private bus collided with two trucks that had already collided with each other on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Rajasthan’s Dausa district on Thursday, police said.

Nangal-Rajavatan DSP Charul Gupta said that this accident happened due to dense fog. This bus was going from Ujjain to Delhi with devotees. According to the DSP, over 20 passengers were admitted to Dausa District Hospital, and around 45 people were injured. She added that many injured people went to Delhi and Noida for treatment, while four were sent to Jaipur.

According to Gupta, the accident happened in the Dausa district close to Lahdi Ka Bas on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. According to the officials, the accident severely damaged the bus’s front end.

After discovering that many people were hurt, District Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deepak Sharma ordered the deployment of more doctors and staff.
