Finally, in the XV Gran Hotel Bali Nocturno Blitz 2024 Group B Sub-2000, 10-year-old Safin Safarullakhan won 7/8. Moroccan Hatim Bendriss came second, followed by the other athletes in conformity with the tie-breaker merit. It was organized at Hotel Bali in Benidorm, Alicante, Spain, on the 3rd and 4th of December, 2024, and the competition was so keen and the matches equally interesting.
Four players, David Blanco Garcia Bajo (ESP), Mario Antonanzas Fernandez (ESP), Kevin D’Souza and Yohan Boricha, got 6.5/8 to occupy third to sixth places, respectively. There was a total of €2,000 up for grabs as prize money that was divided between the main Open section and the Sub-2000 section, which was initiated by Luis Barona Boj. The winners and runners-ups of the group got €300 and €200, and the other ranks also got €120, in addition to the trophies.
