Veteran actor Siddharth was once one of the most loved heroes in Tollywood. But with time, his inconsistent filmography made him irrelevant, and as a result, he mostly confined himself to Tamil films in recent years.

However, cut to now, Siddharth is back in the news for making a couple of controversial comments on Pushpa 2. In a recent Tamil interview he was asked to react on the kind of crowds Pushpa 2 is generating in places like Bihar and other Indian belts. He replied saying this is no big deal as people in India will watch even a JCB at work and are primarily focus’s on beer and biryani while attending public events.

The actor went on to add, “The bigger the crowds that gather the better. Let’s hope that the crowds will come to theatres also. Cinema needs to be healthy. All of us are in the same boat. For a movie to release and become a hit it Is a 1 in 100 situation. Good things should happen to producers. Artists should reap the benefits of their hard work.”
