New Delhi: Pragati Maidan in Delhi is hosting the 43rd India International Trade Fair (IITF). The expo, which is scheduled to run till November 27, features a vibrant display of goods from all around India and the world.

One of the most popular trade events in the nation, the IITF attracts businesses, exhibitors, and visitors who are eager to learn about new products, crafts, and innovations. “Vocal for Local, Local to Global,” this year’s theme, highlights India’s initiatives to boost domestic industry while fostering international trade ties. The fair aims to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and teamwork as India advances towards a more advanced and independent future.

Fair Timings and Dates

The general public and business visitors have distinct timetables for the fair:

. Only business travelers were allowed to travel from November 14 to November 18.

. The fair is available to the public from Tuesday, November 19, till November 27.

With a wide range of exhibits from local Indian businesses and foreign participation, the IITF seeks to provide something for everyone. The India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), which promotes India’s value chain and industry overall, intends to become a flagship organization, according to the government.

Tickets Availability and Prices

. The Momentum 2.0 Delhi Sarathi app, the Bharat Mandapam app, the official ITPO website (www.indiatradefair.com), and the DMRC website (www.itpo.autope.in) all provide online ticketing. QR codes offer a simple and safe way to buy tickets.

The 55 authorized Delhi Metro stations where offline tickets are offered include Inderlok, Samaypur Badli, Shiv Vihar, Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda, and other popular locations. Children’s admission to the fair is ₹40, while general admission tickets start at ₹80 from November 19.

Venue and Operating hours

In Delhi, the Supreme Court Metro Station offers access to Pragati Maidan. Entry Points: Gates 6 and 10 (Mathura Road) and 3 and 4 (Bhairon Marg) are the entrances for visitors. Every day from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm, the fair will be open, allowing visitors plenty of time to check out the exhibits.

The theme of the IITF, “Viksit Bharat @2047,” considers Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Viksit Bharat,” which is to establish a wealthy and independent India by 2047. He emphasized the need to increase digital purchases at trade exhibitions and planned to build kiosks to facilitate smooth transactions.
