A Common Recruitment Process (CRP) has been launched by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for the Regional Rural Banks (RRB) to fill the positions of Group “A” Officers (Scale-I, II, and III) and Group “B” Office Assistants (Multipurpose).

Applications can be submitted via the official website, ibps.in, by candidates who wish to apply and meet the eligibility requirements. June 7 was the start of the application process, which will continue through June 27, 2024.

According to the IBPS, a candidate cannot be nessesarily eligible for employment in any of the Regional Rural Banks by just applying, passing the CRP, and receiving a provisional allotment in one of the RRBs. It says, “The ultimate authority for recruitment is the Regional Rural Bank itself. The RRB concerned may, in its sole discretion, reject the candidature of anyone provisionally allotted to it through the CRP.”

In either case, a candidate must be either:

• A citizen of India or

• A subject of Nepal or

• A subject of Bhutan or

• A Tibetan refugee who travelled to India prior to January 1, 1962, with the goal of relocating there permanently or

• An individual of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the goal of relocating permanently to India, provided that a candidate who fits one of the previously mentioned groups is the one for whom the Indian government has granted an eligibility certificate.

AGE CRITERIA:

Since June 1, 2024, the IBPS has established an age limit for a number of posts. They are listed below:

• Officer Scale 1 (Assistant Manager): 18–30 years

• Office Assistant (Clerk): 18-28 years

• Officer Scale-2: 21–32 years

• Officer Scale-3: 21–40 years

HOW TO APPLY: The only way for candidates to submit an application is online via the official website; no other form will be accepted.

  • First, candidates must visit the official website ibps.in, click the “CRP for RRBs” link on the home page, and then select the relevant option, either “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-RRBs OFFICERS (Scale-I, II, and III)” or “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-RRBs-OFFICE ASSISTANTS (Multipurpose)”.
  • To register their application, candidates must select the New Registration link and fill out the online application form with their basic details. The system will produce and display on the screen a temporary registration number and password. The candidate needs to record their qualifications.
  • The provisional registration number and password will also be given via email and SMS.
  • It is necessary for candidates to upload a handwritten declaration, their left thumb impression, their signature, and their photo. During the registration procedure, candidates will also need to upload a photo of themselves using a camera or a mobile device. in accordance with the guidelines provided.
  • Candidates should carefully complete the online application form because they cannot go back and edit any of the information they enter. It is recommended that candidates check the details using the “SAVE AND NEXT” feature before submitting the online application.
  • Payment Method: Only online payment is accepted for candidates’ required fees and notification expenses. To make an online payment, candidates must have all the required information on hand.
  • Candidates should print the system-generated online application form after completing the online application process and paying the application fee. Verify that the information is correct, then save the printout of the form together with their registration number and password for future use.
