The schedule for the CBSE supplementary examination 2024 for Classes 10 has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CBSE Class 10 Supplementary Exam 2024 is scheduled to take place from July 15 to July 22 according to the schedule. The Class 12 Supplementary Exam will take place on a single day, July 15. For some subjects, the exam timings are 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, and for others, it’s 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. The tentative CBSE supplementary exam date sheet 2024 is available for students to download on the official website, cbse.gov.in.
A maximum of three chances are available for a student to pass an examination in the Compartment category in the Mains. The supplementary exam will be conducted on the basis of the Syllabus prescribed for the Bord Examination Session 2023-24. Candidates can check the syllabus on the CBSE website.
CBSE has directed the schools to inform the students paced in the Compartment category about the re-examination. In case, passed students wish to give the compartment for their improved performances, they can contact the schools.
According to the statement issued by the board, “This tentative date sheet has been published to help the students to select the subjects for which they want to appear in the supplementary examinations 2024 for improvement of performance. The final date sheet will be issued after the last date of submission of LOC.”
CBSE also directed the schools to submit LOC for all the students placed in the Compartment category even if they are unable to contact them. Non-submission of students’ names shall cease the candidate’s opportunity to appear for the Supplementary examinations.
