Raipur: The Congress party is highly condemning the fact that the children of this village in the jurisdiction of the Bhairamgarh police station have been killed in the bomb blast incident. Regarding this distressful case, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress President Deepak Baij announced having an investigation committee of 7 members. The committee is headed by Chhavindra Karma, a former candidate for the Dantewada assembly constituency, which was fought during the elections.
The ex-assembly candidate, Chhavindra Karm, has been named the committee’s convener. Others who are part of this team are Bijapur MLA Vikram Mandavi, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Neena Rawatia, Bijapur District President Lalu Rathore, Bijapur District Panchayat President Shankar Kudiyam, and Block Presidents Basant Tati and Lachhu Modiyam from Bhairamgarh.
Deepak has called upon the committee members to immediately visit the village where the disaster happened. However, they are mandated to go around and talk to the bereaved families to establish the truth and collect all the pertinent details regarding the incidents. The decision-making that precedes the formation of the disciplinary committee should be done per a template provided by the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee, where the final report is sent.
The committee’s formation testifies to the ruling Congress Party’s resolution to handle the very momentous diversions with the highest degree of priority and gravity. The community torn apart by the blast that led to the death of young people has been thrown into a new reality, and this is exactly what our party wants to investigate that is how this tragedy occurred.
The role of the committee involves, inter alia, the investigation into the matter, and it too seeks to provide comfort and healing to the bereaved families. Their activities in Bodga village would include talking to the residents to collect any eyewitness accounts and other relevant information, including any causes and consequences attributed to the blast.
