Bhopal: A sensational case of the disappearance of 26 girls from a girls’ home has come to light in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Sources reveal that the girls’ home was being operated illegally without any permission. After the matter came to light, not only the police register an FIR, but the National Children Commission has also taken cognizance.
It is said that there was an entry for 68 girls to stay in the girls’ home and only 41 girls were found. Apart from Gujarat, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, there were children from Sehore, Raisen, Chhindwara, Balaghat of Madhya Pradesh in the orphanage. The police have also registered an FIR as the girls’ home was running without permission. National Child Commission Chairman Priyank Kanungo has also written a letter to Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary Veera Rana in this matter. Girls Home is operated in Parwalia police station area of Bhopal.
