New Delhi: Delhi Government has decided to honor the best School Management Committees (SMC). One school management committee in every district will be honored. Committees can apply till January 2.
Delhi Education Minister Atishi said that the government has decided to give the Best SMC Award to recognize the efforts of SMC in schools. Under this, one best SMC will be selected at the state level from more than one thousand schools of Delhi Government. Along with this, according to the 15 districts of the Education Department, one best SMC will be selected in each district.
The district level committee will first select the applications from more than 16 thousand active members. After that it will be sent to the state level committee. SMC has more than 16 thousand active members in one thousand schools of Delhi.
