Raipur: On December 25, the birthday of former Prime Minister of the country Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be celebrated as Good Governance Day. Preparations regarding this have intensified. On the occasion of Good Governance Day, a cleanliness campaign will be run across the country. Which will start from 25th December. Which will last for 1 week. Besides, the farmers of the state will also get a gift on 25th December.
According to the announcement, the BJP government of the state will give two years’ outstanding bonus to the farmers. In which an amount of Rs 264 crore 79 lakh 45 thousand will be distributed among the farmers of Raipur district. In this, a bonus amount of Rs 130 crore 50 lakh 62 thousand will be given to 84 lakh 322 farmers for 2014-15. In 2015-16, 86 thousand 81 farmers will be given a bonus amount of Rs 134 crore 28 lakh 83 thousand.
Various programs will be organized in urban bodies on Good Governance Day. The program will be organized at Atal Chowk at 10 am. At the same time, bonus of paddy production incentive amount 2014-15 and 2015-16 will be given to the farmers. For this, the government has ordered to pay Rs 300 per quintal to the farmers of the state. An amount of Rs 1,91,29,766 crore will be given as bonus in 2014-15 and Rs 1,80,34,131 crore in 2015-16. A total incentive amount of Rs 3,71,63,896 crore has been earmarked for this.
