He termed the verdict commendable, emphasizing its role in strengthening the spirit of ‘One India.’ Yogi Adityanath expressed his appreciation through his official account on the social media platform ‘X.’ He stated that the decision provides robust support to the sentiment of ‘One India – Best India.’ The Chief Minister acknowledged the historic endeavor of connecting Jammu and Kashmir to the country’s mainstream under the leadership of the revered Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the ethos of ‘Nation First.’ Yogi Adityanath conveyed heartfelt gratitude from 25 crore residents of the state for this significant historic task.
He lauded the successful leadership of Prime Minister Modi, asserting that under his effective guidance, Jammu and Kashmir, along with the Ladakh region, will establish new benchmarks in governance, development, and prosperity. He concluded his message with the patriotic slogan, “Jai Hind!”
It is noteworthy that the Supreme Court announced its verdict today (December 11th) on the constitutional amendment related to Article 370, a move made by the Central Government in 2019. This decision marks the end of the special status accorded to the former state of Jammu and Kashmir, as granted under Article 370.
