Jaipur: Assembly voting has ended in Rajasthan. Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta informed through a press conference that there will be no re-polling anywhere in the state. It also came to light from the CEO’s PC that this time the voting figure in the state could go up to 80 percent.

At many places, it has come to light that names of voters are missing from the voter list. In this regard, the election officer said that even after the voter list was released on October 4, 20 lakh people have added their names. The municipal and assembly voter lists are separate.

Looking at the mathematics on the data from 1998 to 2018, it comes out that whenever the voting percentage has decreased compared to the previous election, it has not been a good sign for the BJP, whereas increasing the voting percentage can be inauspicious for the Congress party. By the way, late night the voting percentage was reported to be 74.13.
