Raipur: In preparation, for the vote count, officials and staff involved in the election process are currently undergoing training. They are being briefed on the rules with an emphasis on the prohibition of phones inside the counting venue. The counting process is scheduled to begin on the morning of December 3rd.
For the assembly, there will be 14 tables dedicated to counting, while an additional 17 tables will be exclusively designated for ballot counting. The government engineering college in Koni will serve as the counting venue, where a total of 84 tables will be set up to accommodate all six constituencies in the district. Moreover, across all six constituencies, there will be an allocation of 17 tables for ballot counting.
It’s important to note that elections in this state took place in two phases; one phase on November 7th and the second phase on November 17th. The second phase involved voting for a total of 70 seats. Now on December 3rd, votes from all 90 assembly constituencies will undergo counting.
As officials and staff receive training, for this task of vote counting, the election machinery is gearing up for this significant phase that ultimately determines the composition of our state’s legislative assembly.
