Bhopal: Today marks the ongoing voting for the Legislative Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, with 230 constituencies in focus. Alongside the general electorate, veteran leader Digvijay Singh, accompanied by his family, is actively participating in the voting process at a polling booth. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and his wife, Amrita Singh, exercised their franchise at the Shyamla Hills polling center in the capital city of Bhopal.

Digvijay Singh, a voter in the South West Assembly constituency, expressed his optimism about the Congress party’s performance in the elections. Post casting his vote, he confidently stated that Congress is poised to secure more than 130 seats in Madhya Pradesh.

Amidst the electoral enthusiasm, Digvijay Singh addressed a concerning incident in Chhatarpur, where he revealed that a BJP candidate allegedly ran over a Congress worker with his vehicle. Expressing dismay, Singh criticized the delay in police action, highlighting that neither the vehicle has been seized nor has the candidate been apprehended so far.

As Madhya Pradesh residents actively engage in the democratic process, the elections unfold with a mix of political participation and unforeseen incidents, shaping the narrative of the state’s political landscape. The high-stakes electoral battle will determine the composition of the state assembly, and political leaders, including Digvijay Singh, closely watch the developments, hoping for favorable outcomes aligned with their respective party interests.
